  Manual Window The manual window gives the operator full control of the spectrometer including safety-integrated control of the vacuum system, analyser, sample manipulator, and excitation sources. Manual mode is typically used to acquire data from unknown samples to optimise experiment conditions prior to defining a collection routine in the acquisition manager.
