Vision v 2.0 - DataSets and Processing

The VISION v. 2.0 Sun workstation base provides concurrent control, acquisition, and processing multitasking on individual separate desktops. The simple, intuitive graphical interface enables easy access to a powerful array of processing routines, each capable of routine application to "template" repetitive analysis procedures through stored "history" files.

DataSets Vision 2 stores acquired data in DataSets. Each DataSet is made up of a number of data objects which can contain spectra or images. Objects are separated by a state change indicator to show, for example, whether a sample was etched or moved between acquisitions.The DataSet browser enables simple click or "marquee" selection of objects for display or processing.
