VISION v. 2.0 provides comprehensive data acquisition and processing for the AMICUS and AXIS family of surface analysis instruments. The software has a simple graphical interface which has been developed to enable easy operation of each instrument. VISION v. 2.0 also provides a comprehensive range of data processing routines for data reduction and unsurpassed graphical output.

VISION v. 2.0 software is the next generation of data acquisition and processing software evolved from the innovative VISION 1.0 and its forerunner, DS-800. Running on the Sun platform under Solaris 2, the motif environment enables control, acquisition, and processing multitasking to take place on individual desk tops. The simple graphical interface permits full control of the instrument and all sub-systems as well as providing a powerful array of processing routines and output facilities.
