Review of Users' Meetings : 21st - 24th September 2020

The 2020 Users' Meetings moved online and were held between 21st - 24th September. The new format allowed many more Users to attend the meeting with over 150 Users registered for the European & Asia meeting and 70 registered for the North American Meeting. The meetings were a mix of User and Kratos presentations with plenty of opportunity for Q&As, discussion and networking. Recordings of the presentations are now available in the Members Area to watch again.

1980's ES-300 still generating data

During the recent ECASIA’19 we met up with Dr. Lidiya Kibis who is working at the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, part of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Our interest was sparked when Dr. Kibis told us that her institute were generating data from a Kratos ES-300. Whilst we doubt that there are any working spectrometers older than the ES-300 at Boreskov Institute of Catalysis we’d welcome your stories to help us celebrate Kratos’ 50 years of XPS.

Vision 2 on MS Windows 10

Kratos’ Vision2 acquisition and processing software is now available for Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. With less than a year to end of life for MS Windows 7, now is the perfect time to upgrade to Vision 2 on a Windows 10 PC.

Review of the 2016 US Users' Meeting

The North American Users Meeting was hosted on the US west coast at UC Irvine. Attended by over 30 Kratos Users and 5 Kratos applications, support and sales staff the meeting was an excellent opportunity for the attendees to present research conducted with Kratos instruments.
